Eddie Juarez-Profacci Sensei

The Fighting Aspects:
Currently holding the rank of Shodan, (Black Belt) in the AKKO, Profacci Sensei started his training in Kyokushin Karate under the tutelage of Cappa Shihan in 1992. From early on in his training, he found it irresistible to challenge himself by putting to practical use what he had learned in his training in both the competition arena as well as in life itself.  Throughout the years he has encountered many opponents in full contact bouts from various disciplines including Kyokushin, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, MMA, Shindenkan and so on. He has been triumphant in many of his challenges and learned from those in which he wasn’t. Profacci Sensei has also put to use his training in  real life street scenarios in his 5 years as a Doorman in a Los Angeles Night Club in which he credits his Karate training for his success and survival in these violent situations.  A husband and father of four sons, Sensei Profacci’s motto on the use of Karate is simple…

In today’s world more than ever, stride to resolve issues using verbal technique rather than physical. If necessary, be confident in knowing that you are a well trained Kyokushin Karateka, Osu!”

Mind, Body, Spirit
Profacci Sensei is also an advocate of Mental, Physical and Spiritual development and advancement. He currently works as an IT (Information Technology) Specialist and is partnered in the ownership of a production co. Sensei is very fond of traditional and non traditional Eastern practices of healing and internal energy including Pranic Healing, Acupuncture and Chi Gong. He is also a believer in leading a healthy life through moderation and discipline while enjoying life to the fullest.

“I am inclined to believe that Karate alone is not enough. It is an element amongst a group of balancing elements. The student’s spiritual, mental and physical developments are all one.  Be well rounded in your advancement. Osu!”
