Sensei Juan Perez began his life long martial arts training at an early age. He studied Judo, Jujitsu, and wrestling and became a skilled martial artist. In 2003, Sensei Perez visited the Cappa Martial Arts Northridge dojo; there he met Kyoshi Cappa. After his first day of practice, Sensei Perez knew that Kyokushin had the positive spirit and motivation that he had been missing from his other training. His commitment, tenasity, and love of Kyokushin and Akki Jujitsu led to Sensei Perez's appointment as the AKKO’s Southern California Co-Branch Chief. Sensei Perez holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt), and holds a Level 1 teacher’s certificate. |
